Automotive Technician
Minimum Experience Requirements: 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and repair experience
Some responsibilities of an AAMCO General Automotive Technician include:
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including drivetrain, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
• Transmission removal and installation
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Continuously learn new techniques, including cross training of POS software
• Communicate mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs to store management

Automotive Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic
Minimum Experience Requirements: 5+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and repair experience and/or completion of automotive mechanics tech/trade school
Some responsibilities of an AAMCO Diagnostic Technician include:
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including drivetrain, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
• Ability to diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Continuously learn new techniques, including cross training of POS software
• Communicate mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs to store management

Lube Technician
Minimum Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and basic understanding of auto maintenance (training will be provided)
Some responsibilities of an AAMCO Lube Technician include:
• Greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries
• Oil changes, preventative maintenance services such as radiator flushes, transmission flushes, coolant and power steering flushes, belt replacement, and other services offered
• Stocking products as needed
• Assisting other departments as needed
