As a technician, you will be working in a total car care repair center, with jobs ranging from standard maintenance to transmission R&R, to electrical diagnostics and everything in between. This position will be responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service staff and team members.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
• Transmission Removal and Installation
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Continuously learn new information and techniques

JOB REQUIREMENTS
To be qualified you must have at least 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience. The Technician is also required to provide strong leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude to go along with a high level of motivation and energy.

• Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work everyday
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems

Automotive Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic

This position will be responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service staff and team members.
Other responsibilities of the Technician will include:
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems-drivetrain, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
• Ability to diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues.
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Continuously learn new information and techniques, including cross training of POS software
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs
• Maintain an organized work environment

Lube Technician
Minimum Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and basic understanding of auto maintenance (training will be provided)
Some responsibilities of an AAMCO Lube Technician include:
· Greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries
· Oil changes, preventative maintenance services such as radiator flushes, transmission flushes, coolant and power steering flushes, belt replacement, and other services offered
· Stocking products as needed
· Assisting other departments as needed
Position Responsibilities
Providing customer service by greeting and assisting customers, as well as responding to customer inquiries
Researching specs for vehicles
Perform work specified on basic maintenance with focus on inspection of fluid, belts, filters, air levels, and gauges
Assist other departments as needed
Stock products as needed
Keep a clean work area

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
· Previous oil & lube industry experience a plus
· Previous sales experience a plus
